Valentine’s Day has arrived which means that many girls will be scrambling around to find the perfect outfit for the day. Red is traditionally the color to wear on Valentine’s Day. A few people who I know or see on social media deviate from red by trying other romantic colors. White and black are great alternatives to red. They can be styled and accessorized to complement a specific look by throwing in red accents to elevate it. Red lips and red nails are glamorous and effortless; they’re minimal yet turn the entire look into a piece of glamour.
White is pure and subtle which makes it a romantic option to go with. A plain asymmetrical dress similar like this can be a Valentine’s Day pick to wow your lover. It is very editorial and accentuates my silhouette impeccably. I kept the accessories minimal and went for a bold lip and red nails. You might remember this dress from my graduation.
The great thing about white dresses is that they complement all skin complexions. Try out different dress styles and looks that complement your body and make you feel confident enough for your partner. Alternatively, if you decide to ditch an all white dress and stick to an all red look, this is a good option. Wearing pants is acceptable if it happens to be extremely cold. Valentine’s Day does not necessarily mean that you should always wear dresses. If it is too cold, a fitted jumpsuit or pants are ideal.
To finish this look off, I wore my Christian Louboutin pumps for he makes the most romantic looking shoes literally. Most of all, these shoes complement my dressy looks. They are classy and are made for the average glam girl.
