Today was a gloomy fall Sunday with rain showers drizzling from morning throughout the evening. It explains why I rocked a turtle neck sweater because I don’t wear them regularly. This weather was not inviting enough for me to have to spend my Sunday roaming in the streets. It was the perfect Netflix and Chill kind of day except I had to work on new material for the blog. Often times, I take blog pictures for the week on Sundays so that I can plan out my outfits accordingly throughout the week.
I was concerned that the rain would prevent me from getting some good shots despite having isolated showers. I wore a turtle neck sweater to church because it was hazy and chilly this early morning. This sweater is the softest and most cozy turtle neck sweater alternative I have. This is why I always target purchasing sweaters made of wool.
I also like that its soft texture does not irritate the skin. I’m usually not a huge fan of turtle neck sweaters however this one is an exception. I always want to curl up in my bed and get lost in thought when I wear it. I wore my snake-skin booties alternative with this look to give it some character and a pattern flow.
The turtle neck sweater with the dress pants alternative were a good balance of a casual and dressy look. I added my burgundy cross body bag alternative for a great color pop. This bag is a great fall statement piece to have because it elevates outfits with warm colors just like this one. I noticed that most of my sweaters come in creams and greys. I want to add some colorful sweaters especially turtle neck sweaters so that I can have variety with my knits.
