Tory Burch is known for making uniquely crafted shoes for every woman. From all the feminine embellished flats to her signature ballet flats, you get a good product for what you pay for. She has branched out into creating a wider collection with newer trendy styles like mules with different styles and textures.
A while back in college, I wanted to purchase these ballet flats in black since black is versatile. When I walked into Nordstrom, they had these royal blue velvet ballet flats similar on display for the Tory Burch spring collection. I immediately reached for them and it was a sell. This ballet flats style compliments different looks from dresses with elegant fabric and style, to jeans and dress pants. If you like them in different colors, she has a few that are pleasing to the eye if you love color. Who prefers the black and tan flats look only?
Did I mention that the Tory Burch logo embedded on most if not all her shoes adds so much detail and elegance. This is one reason that drew me to her shoes. I like that these royal blue flats add a vibrant color pop to this look. I decided not to dress up the look by opting for flats. It was a jeans alternative kind of day so I styled them with a buttoned down long sleeve shirt alternative. I typically would wear a neutral sweater with jeans and style the look with these Tory Burch flats.
However, I wanted to achieve a look with more layers to it so I threw on this faux fur duster alternative. It has been warm in the DMV so most of my spring pieces like these flats have come out. I have gradually moved away from wearing boots when the temperatures are a bit warm because I want to wear more loafers and flats. Side note… I rarely invest in new flats and always opt for heels. This year, I have to make a conscious decision to invest in more flats.
