This time of the year, I think of winter style ideas. This past weekend was fun-filled because of the miniature snow storm we had. I know I shouldn’t be calling it a snow storm, but I couldn’t contain myself. We barely got snow this time last year therefore, what are the odds that we might have a white Christmas? I’m that kind of girl who always looks forward to snow days and time off from work. I like to hibernate inside the house and spend multiple lazy days drinking hot chocolate and s’mores. Typical cliché winter things.
I also like to gear up on different winter style ideas each year. Bulking up is always the most efficient way to brave winter storms. This multicolored coat alternative from Make Me Chic is light and not the most ideal winter coat. However, I like the color block element it adds to the look. I layered heavily on the inside making it work just fine as a winter coat. It also has the perfect length to absorb as much heat as possible.
I purchased this round woven basket bag similar during the summer and made it a go-to for some of my summer looks. I thought that it could also make a unique and stylish winter accessory. It gives this look a neutral stylish touch. Because we are in the holiday season grove, I start to think of winter style ideas to wear to holiday parties. This coat is an effortless statement piece to throw on top of a chic and glamorous dress or jumpsuit like this one. Puffer jackets seem to be the it jacket this winter and parkas too which are forever timeless and never go out of style. Chic and casual winter style ideas both create for the perfect looks however it all depends on how you style them.
