ALT= Holiday Gift Guide

Gush where does time go? We just fed our appetites at the Thanksgiving dinner table yesterday and now Christmas is less than 5 days away. The good thing however, is that it is gift giving season which means it is time to break into our savings accounts. LITERALLY! I always love sharing a holiday gift guide each year with you all to simplify your shopping experiences.

Shopping is not for everyone which is why creating a post that breaks down different holiday gift ideas is something to have in handy. It is even worse when you have to decide on which holiday gift suits each person in your life. For someone like myself who has to gift my family, friends and colleagues, I always have to make a spread sheet of what to get people.

This year, I got my colleagues at work each a Nordstrom Gift Card. I know some say that gift cards are a cop-out but… if you do not know your colleagues very well, gift cards are the best neutral alternative to a lavish gift. First, I was drawn to the gift card packaging at Nordstrom; the envelope that houses the gift card looks like a mini Nordstrom shopping bag. Super elegant! I thought it was the coolest glam chic idea. Second, the gift card itself comes in the form of an ornament. If this is not a great holiday gift to give to your co-workers, I don’t know what is. I also know that some of my colleagues barely step foot into Nordstrom so this was my way of exposing them to something new that they are potentially missing out on.

    Love all your picks! I agree. I think it’s much safer to go with a gift card then potentially get someone something they might not like.
