HELLO OCTOBER: BIRTHDAY MONTH

October 1, 2017

October is my favorite month of the year for obvious reasons. It is my birthday month. It officially feels like fall now that we have entered a new month. The leaves are turning into autumn leaves and temperatures a lot more cooler. Cozy sweaters and sweat pants are going to be in full effect on my end on lazy days. This is one thing I look forward to during these cooler months. Drinking pumpkin spice lattes and hot chocolate, binge watching on Friday nights and Saturdays until dawn is an autumn tradition. The older I get, I learn to admire the simple things about life that involve little to no effort. I recently purchased this taupe twisted sweater which can be worn in multiple ways to add character to your looks. I wore it as an off shoulder sweater because I wanted to show off these sun kissed blades… Jk! I like how versatile and seamless this sweater can be styled. I was in an off the shoulder mood clearly so I went for that. I paired it with a mid waist Burgundy faux leather skirt alternative which is a rich accent color for fall. These tassel mules alternative gave the look a chic finish which they always do. This is a great look for these early fall days when the temperatures are cool enough for mini skirts. I would wear this look on a romantic date night by  substituting the mules with heeled sandals or heeled mules. This sweater is very flirty and feminine which qualifies for a romantic fall dinner date look.
