Yesterday marked the first day of fall but it sure didn’t feel like it. Today feels like a normal summer day with humid temperatures. This past summer wasn’t really fruitful enough as the temperatures were usually up and down and not consistent. I usually plan international trips every summer however this year, I did things differently. I decided to travel local while I saved up for bigger trips to come. I will be traveling to Punta Cana in two weeks for my birthday week so watch out for some interesting blog posts during that adventure. So what is in it for me this fall? I have always been a sucker for fall because of the warm toned outfits and intriguing boots and coat styles. I plan on purchasing new fall collections and getting rid of some old pieces. I always tell myself that to add new pieces to a closet, I have to force myself to downsize. Sometimes it is easy to oversee things that you might not need when you are just browsing through your closet. Taking the time to piece out what needs to come out usually helps you revamp your closet with some new goodies. I want a fresh fall and winter closet so I will be working on a lot of cleaning up. Today is such a beautiful day with the sun fully out so, I decided to wear a white open back skater dress with a plunging neckline alternative to run a few errands. I accessorized with this straw basket bag alternative that I have had for over 6 years…. yup I like to hoard some things. It is the perfect grocery shopping bag though, and sometimes works as a beach bag too. Versatile pieces are usually the best pieces to have. I added color to the look with these half watermelon shaped embroidered tassel earrings alternative which make the look pop. Because I was going for a casual look, I wore slide sandals similar to make for an easy and quick errands run.
