It is fall in the United States so of course a gingham frill dress wouldn’t be ideal for the temperatures. I took a quick break from my daily life obligations and took a trip down to Punta Cana for my birthday week. I’m loving every second I spend here because it is very relaxing and the views extremely breath taking. I will not get into the details of my stay here since that will come in a later post.
Despite all the relaxation I’m doing here, it is some what difficult to keep in touch with the outside world. Why? Well wifi is a pain here. I guess it is a win-win for people who want to unplug from the world 100% when they get here. In my case because I’m a blogger, I like to keep in touch with my social media following and pages.
I am currently working with very weak wifi as I type this blog post so I will use it while it lasts. I wanted to share this look with you that I wore on my first day here. I came with a suit case full of cute stylish sun dresses to wear on vacation however the humidity had other plans. I wore this gingham frill dress on Saturday however I couldn’t keep it on for long.
Right after taking my pictures and having my makeup run until it couldn’t anymore, I had to take this dress off and wiped off my makeup too. It was extremely humid so I immediately reached for my bathing suit. This look is super trendy and perfect for a relaxing Saturday in the Caribbean. I paired the dress with this Tony Bianco mules and a bucket bag. I have decided to stick to bathing suits until I have an activity planned that requires clothing.
