If you followed along on my insta-stories and Snapchat, you know that I went pumpkin picking this past weekend. A fun-filled pumpkin patch experience is a must in the fall. I like stocking up on pumpkins because most of my fall recipes call for pumpkins. I felt like a kid in a candy store, overwhelmed by the different sizes of the pumpkins at the pumpkin patch. The farm was about 10 minutes from my house which made it easier to get there.
It had two fields; one where people would go and only pick pumpkins and another that had both pumpkin picking and a festival. This attracted many little humans with their parents making the scene the place to be. If I was a little girl, I would want to indulge in a fun-filled pumpkin patch experience like this one. There were a lot of cute little babies having their pictures taken while they sat on the pumpkins. This gave me all the baby blues. I can’t wait for the time when I will go to pumpkin patches with my own little pumpkins.
My mom has a secret recipe for a stuffed pumpkin which she makes during the holidays for the family. I always make sure to buy a big enough pumpkin for her to stuff, with goodness. To make the best of my fun-filled pumpkin patch experience, I wore a simple sweater dress alternative here & here with knee-high boots alternative so that I could walk around the farm with ease. I accessorized with a basket bag similar because these are in style and it compliments this look. I was so glad I wore boots to this weekend experience because I was dusty and looked like a farm girl at the end of it all. oops!
