I am enjoying every moment I can while it lasts in London. Being that this is my first time in Europe, I am trying to visit as many countries and cities as I can in the short amount of time I have here. Today I decided to head over to Central London and spend the day doing touristy things. I was so overwhelmed by the amount of things that were running through my mind that I wanted to do including eating the real English fish n chips. ha! I love my food like that.
It is fascinating to be a tourist and see things on the other side by being a completely different person that is intrigued and wants to capture every moment as it passes by. I spent most of my time on Oxford street off course doing some shopping because I could not resist going into some of my favorite British stores like AQ/AQ. I noticed that the Central part of London gets really crowded and busy. Definitely something you would not see in DC.
I toured the Big Ben as well and took as many pictures as I possibly could take. One take away from the public transportation here in London is that it is very easy to navigate. Transportation is the last thing on my worry list so I am very excited about that. I wanted to wear something chic and laid back during this adventure, so I went for this denim cut out culotte jumpsuit. I anticipated rain per my iPhone’s weather app however am glad that the skies were bright and clear. The weather does feel like spring here which is a bit odd having that it is scorching hot in the US. Nevertheless, a few of my girlfriends warned me about the weather in Europe so I was fully prepared to some extent.
I wanted to go all the way cute with this look so I strapped on these lace espadrille wedges. Boy my feet were killing me after several hours of crossing the chaotic London streets. Lesson learned! Do not site see in heels! Overall, I did enjoy my first day site seeing and am yet to see even more adventurous places during my stay here. I might not be able to post as much as I would like to because I am literally going to move from country to country for the next couple of days, but I will catch you all up with posts as much as I can.
Thanks for stopping by xo!
