MINI FRILLS

July 30, 2017

I am enjoying every last bit of summer because the weather has slowly started deteriorating. Now days, if it is not heavy rain showers, it is chilly mornings accompanied by muggy afternoons. Well aside from that, I have been working on different summer looks that go beyond flip flops and maxi dresses. This used to be my summer uniform back in the day. Although there is nothing wrong with this uniform, it is fruitful putting effort in an outfit. I went all out with this look and rocked this mini leather skirt and top (alternative ) with frill details. I took the leap of faith and shot this look on the Key Bridge in Georgetown.

I have been greatly focusing on change of scenery by incorporating capturing and mesmerizing backdrops. I usually wear leather skirts when it is colder because of the color scheme and the way they pair well with sweaters and jackets. Can we speak about how short this mini is though. I mean I could barely bend or walk up a stair case because this tutu like skirt gives off too much sexy. I do love wearing mini skirts from time to time. Sometimes if not all the times, I struggle with them shifting a lot because I am a bit curvy. Skinner girls definitely rock these better. I finally got my hands on mules (alternative) that are versatile and chic. The tassels add more intrigue to them and allow them to add character to a look. I can’t wait to play around with them in different looks.
