You know what they always say, to become successful, you have to do the things that scare you the most. This is how I feel about my blog thus far. I have tried channeling different approaches to see it thrive. I am no where close to the peak of blogging that is being able to call it my full-time job however, I learn something new each day from different inspirations. I get questions from time to time in my inbox about “how to make money from blogging”. The most important piece people eliminate from this sentence construct is the passion and interest behind blogging.
There is no way anyone can succeed without making a sacrifice unless you win the lottery. Now that is another extreme which is not applicable here. I can’t stress this enough to eager aspiring bloggers how important it is to genuinely have a passion for blogging. It is like a full-time job so having love and willing to commit and dedicate a huge chunk of your time is important. Speaking of sacrifices, sometimes I wear looks that normally would not cross my mind. I always have to make a conscious effort to remember that I am reaching a wide mass of fashion driven readers. Therefore, trying looks that I find cool but wouldn’t normally wear is a way for me to show people different sides to style. Just like these retro pants that have a unique edgy feel, I risked wearing them with a plain Mango printed tee (similar) and tassel mules (alternative). I got this entire look under $100 during Mango’s semi-annual sale so check out the alternatives to achieve a similar look.
