August 13, 2017

I dislike these earlier days of August because they are a constant reminder that summer is coming to an end. Summer is one of my favorite seasons because I get to do so much outside the house. Despite the humidity and the annoying buzzing bugs, summer is always a win-win for me. It always seems like everyone is in good spirits during this time of the year. Last week I went to NY for the weekend and on the last day before heading back home, I decided to go on the Brooklyn Bridge to take some blog pictures and play tourist for a bit. I love traveling because I always learn something new from different cities.

I love experiencing new cultures and getting exposed to things that the media does not highlight in the fore front. I wore this striped embroidered dress (alternative) with yellow strap sandals (alternative). I love that it is casual and trendy which makes for an ideal outfit for a day of touring. I probably should have worn espadrilles with this dress because at the end of the day, my feet were fired up. I’m not going to lie, I was a grumpy girl at the end of the day lol. I like the yellow shoes though because they add a vibrant pop to the look. I went with a bucket bag (alternative) because it is easier to reach for things when on the go. I’m coming back from South Carolina from a mini family getaway. I did not do much blogging while I was out there however I will gather some content that I captured and create a small blog post. I hope you all are having a relaxing and fun Sunday,

Angela x
