style-synopsis-winter-vibrant-stylesEvery gloomy day needs some vibrance and that is exactly how I felt when I decided to rock this yellow trench coat (alternative).

I usually hold off on wearing vibrant statement piece coats until spring time however, I like to elevate my style in different ways. I have had this coat for a minute now and if you know me, I like to keep certain pieces in my closet for ages. I am a strong believer in maintaining clothes and shoes that way they stay durable. If you are going to spend tones of dollars on clothing, then it is only fitting to do so. I layered quite heavy with  this look for a change. Layers are fun to play dress up with because you get to pair different fabrics and embroidery. I worked with leather jeans (alternative) and a contrast faux fur vest (similar) because I wanted to work with proportion in all black. The sweater (alternative) and coat give the look charm without over shadowing it. This quilted bag and boots add an elegant chic and impeccable flare to complete the look.

Happy MLK Holiday!

Cheers xo!
